Private Ceramic Course
This private ceramic course includes 3 private classes, 2 hours each, offering a total of 6 hours of personalized ceramic practice.
Throughout the three classes, you’ll learn the fundamentals of hand-building, including shaping, form-building, and surface development. Underglaze decoration and glazing techniques are also introduced as part of the creative process.
With one-on-one guidance throughout each class, the course is tailored to your own pace, interests, and creative goals. Whether you’re completely new to ceramics or looking to deepen your understanding of hand-building, the three-class format gives you the time and space to explore the material and develop your work.
Please select your preferred time slot when booking. Your selected time slot applies to all 3 private classes. Once booked, the three class dates will be arranged with you within your selected time slot. Different time slots cannot be combined within the same course.
Technical details
Throughout the course, you’ll work with different types of high-fire and low-fire clay, learning how each clay body behaves, feels, and responds to different hand-building techniques.
Through one-on-one guidance, we’ll explore a range of hand-building methods, including pinching, coiling, slab building, joining, shaping, and form development.
You’ll also be introduced to surface decoration, underglaze, and glazing techniques, with time to experiment and develop your own approach to form, texture, and finish.
Between sessions, your pieces will be carefully dried and fired at Noonshine Atelier. After glazing, they will receive their final firing according to the requirements of each clay body.
All clay, tools, glazing materials, and firings are included.
No previous ceramic experience is required.

Your selected time slot applies to all 3 private classes. After completing your booking, we’ll contact you to arrange the three class dates within your selected time slot.
All three classes must follow the same selected time slot and cannot be split between different time slots.
Should you need to request a date change or cancellation, please contact us within 24 hours of your purchase at hello@noonshine.co.
Once your class dates are confirmed, you’ll receive an email with the schedule, atelier location, arrival details, and contact information for the Noonshine Atelier team.
Delivery
Your finished pieces will be ready for collection approximately 1–10 days after your final class, once the firing process is complete.
You’ll receive an email when your pieces are ready. Please collect them within 5 days of receiving the notification.
If needed, international shipping can be arranged for an additional fee.
