Hi, I’m Naz!

I’m a ceramic artist based in Lisbon, Portugal, originally from Istanbul. For over 10 years, I’ve been creating ceramics through fully handmade process.

I founded noonshine to let the objects I design and create become part of people’s everyday moments , whether at a shared table, in a coffee ritual, or in small personal spaces that hold meaning. I believe the objects we use shape how we experience these moments and carry emotions with them over time.

Nature is my main source of inspiration. I observe organic textures, forms, and imperfections and translate them into pieces meant to be touched, used, and lived with.

Every piece at noonshine is entirely handmade. No molds or mass production are used; each object is individually shaped by hand, and even the logo beneath every piece is drawn and applied by me. For me, touch is the most essential part of making, it creates a connection between the maker, the object, and the person who uses it.

I believe every piece reflects something from both the person who makes it and the person who lives with it. noonshine is a reflection of slow production, human touch, and the beauty of imperfection.
